Timothy Reed Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 So I have a little confusion on dvc subs and wiring them. Even looking at the diagrams I'm still confused. I'm buying the cresendo bc3500D to power two 15'' fi bls but not sure to get 1 or 2 ohm dvc's subs. How many watts average will each sub be pushing in each type of wiring. I wanting to at least push the 1500 rms to each sub but not sure how to wire or weather to get dvc 1 or 2. How can I do this?
08tahoe Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 If you want to get full power from your amp then go with d1's. With two d1's you will be able to wire down to 1ohm. The 3500 is rated at 3875 watts at 1 ohm so each sub should be seeing about 1937.5 watts.

And yes this is my first do it all my self system. each sub will see half of 3500 watts. so yeah each coil will see a quarter of the 3500 watts. i hope you have your electrical planned out. cause that alone will cost you more than the amp did.
