For us it's not wasting money, we can buy low range sundown stuff for less than $100. Hell I only paid about $300 for a DC Audio lvl 4 12". I can honestly tell you that if you were to sit any speaker in Sundowns range against whatever it is that you have, you'd be able to tell a difference in quality. In car audio you gotta pay to play, if you're happy with your sub then that's great, but there's people here that are competing and chasing numbers that have to spend a bunch of money to get where they are at. I'd encourage you to look at Sq equipment, and you'll notice an even bigger price gap.

like i said u can get two of my 15's for that money Dont play them at max.. itll sound A LOT LOT better and itll still be a lot lot louder..

you guys think that bassface is literally specs and no go i know what sound quality is. i have a friend who is a sound technichian(fixes and does audio for clubs) and he took me with him so i can check out the setup in one of the clubs he was at and believe me those subs alone cost 3x jonathan price's whole hoe 4.0 including the truck.. the sound there was incredible yet it wasnt that much clearer than my 15! the only difference there was is that the club subs shake a lot more and dont fart regardless of how much you turn them up..obviously 4x18's sound a lot louder than my 15 but quality wasnt that much better..

what i was saying is that the only sundown subwoofers that can compete with my 15 cost more than 3-4 times! yet the ones that cost 3-4 times more are a little bit louder and have a bigger xmax ..that doesnt justify a 400% increase in cost. imagine you had to pay 400% the current pretrol/diesel price because it said it was premium.. would you ? course not unless youre bill gates..anyway at the end of the day if youre happy to pat 400% the price for a 10-15% advantage then thats cool by me

my whole thing is you say they are so great yet showed nothing to support it.. the video isn't impressive put it on the 3k rms and on a proven 3k rms,,,, then burp it on 5k or so a few times see if it hold up like a sundown a dc etc....

so your 4 12's are so so so so much better than my sub which is at less than 50% that they justify you spending more than 8 times the money just for them alone?

i mean you can compare a nsv3 zv4 zv3 and team series (all 15") to my 15 and youll see you dont even get much of a benefit... oh and all of them are custom with way over their rated power

NSV3 Cost -> £880 + SCV5k - i would guess its over £1k but below £1.2k as there is only prices for the 4k and 6k so total 880+1000=£1880 + 2 $560batteries(~£420) so a total of £2720 (not including the better wiring he has and better box and that the sub is custom as well)

even if you got 10X the amount of bass youd still be paying a premium and youre definitely not getting 10x more bass..its more like 30%-40% more bass for 11500% the price ( it goes even higher when you consider the fact he's cables and box cost a lot lot more than mine did)

BTW the sub+amp cost me £236 +- £30 for the led transformer..

so what were you saying again about you guys not being ripped off ? 11 500% premium for 30-40% better bass is not that good of a deal especially considering that for another £100 it would only be 10-20% more bass if even that... but of course the stickers are worth it.. even if i blew 10 subs and 10 amps id still have enough money left over for another pair..

im NOT bashing the products im bashing them for asking 11 500% for a 30-40% increase! thats ELEVEN THOUSAND,FIVE HUNDRED percent.. for products manufactured in probably the same country.. by the same people..the the same quality standards.. only a rock would think thats ok.. they dont even have to actually design anything.. the pick the parts from those manufacturers and get sent to the us for assembly.. they have no other cost other than the actual cost of the sub and its parts and shipping.. i love sundown and if i had money to buy thin air i would get a sundown zv5 15/18 probably..

budget yet its almost as good(10-15% difference in output id say) as a sub that costs 4 times as much.. if it was 3-4 times louder ok but its not its 0.10 times louder...

as for you guys wanting videos i cant as the sub is in my living room ill link you to some builds that cost less or as much as zv4 itself and laugh at it and walk over it

Also look at how long the demos are.. jp with his 6team 18's cant keep it on for more than like 30 seconds so they dont blow up

All of these videos the subs are getting 2.5krms even though they can take over 3k!

the last one is more expensive than just a zv4 but its still a lot lot lot lot lot lot lot cheaper than it with the amp and batteries its also only 15.2's instead of 15.3's

Now chat bs about sundown being that good for their prices imho for the price theyre absolute garbage.. if their prices were a lot lot lower it would actually be a good sub.. for £1k bassface can make a sub that makes any sundown cry but there just isnt the market in the uk for such expensive products..anyway see All the videos for yourself them say bs about bassface

I'd love for you to tell me how you can verify that a sundown system would only be 10% louder than whatever you have. Also a large part of cost from manufacturers like DC, AA, Fi, and some of sundown's products (x series and up) is because they are assembled in the U.S.

from what i can tell americans and english people are lazy af and do 1/3 the work for twice as long as the people in the countries they assemble most other subwoofers whilst also being payed a lot more per hour

i can safely say that the 10-15% difference just from watching how much air they move, how much everything flexes and how loud it sounds.. of course not all cameras and mics are the same but you can get a rough estimate.. and like i said even if they had a 200% advantage it would still be more expensive to have 1 zv4 15 than 8 bassface 15's again i love sundown and dc products but the people who run the companies are ripping everyone off.. it costs so much cos its assembled in the usa.. then make the people that are assembling to get off their ass and do the work they are paid to do..

and again the video links i posted, all those guy's systems except the last one cost as much or less than just a ZV4 15 subwoofer nothing else no box no amp no cables nothing.. the last system costs less than a zv4 15 with a scv5k which you need if you want it to even move .. i seriously doubt that those 8 15's are not gonna blow away any single or dual sundown sub setup.. and they cost less than a system with just 1 sub..
