Tebo Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 You can fuck up a box pretty bad and still have it work. We have all had a few slip ups on cuts and our measurements have been. That's why they make filler products. You can fill gaps with tons of stuff, fiberglass, and my favorite wood glue mixed with sawdust 04 dodge dakota ext cab 4x4 excessive amperage 300 amp alt with MONSTER stud =)sundown z v3 15 in a 4th order on aq2200sundown 100.4 2 way active...2 Prv audio 6mb200 & 2 re XXX tweetersdeka intimidatorkenwood x396big 3 1/0 knu wire back to deka intimidator
newb Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 If you are worried about your cuts/ dont have the equipment , Home Depot and Lowes will both cut mdf, depending on the store it might cost 25-50 cents per cut.most will tell you its X per cut and then do it for free. Their cuts might be off a little depending on machine/operator but they will be close enough to make a solid box. I would try to tape off the dust cap (silver arms and logo in middle) and plasti dip the cone. so you have a black background with the silver arms and logo popping out

stroupe79 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 materials to build a box would be less than $60 for what you need...build a ported box for what you have and then worry about power...I would say get someone to design a good enclosure for you and go from there...well worth the time, effort and cash http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
