Achaleon Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 hmm well im not going to start a debate about mixing battery types but i will say personally once you have a nice AGM under the hood alternator is the way to go before you add more batteries. Think of batteries as band aids to a voltage bleeding problem. They help keep you from bleeding out but doesnt fix the problem entirely. Theres a pretty big rift on what is proper electrical and what isnt. Im on the alternator side, you will have to decide whats the best way to go for you. And X3 on CE Electric. They'll even precut the wire and crimp the lugs for you.
