flarobbie Posted February 26, 2013 Report Share Posted February 26, 2013 im doing changable ports in my box, but first you have to calculate the frequency you want and then move on from there....like you box dimentions and such. building your own port and have them be interchangable isnt really that difficult. just wood work and if you want, fiberglass. alot of people go with aeroports too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Joe X Posted February 26, 2013 Report Share Posted February 26, 2013 Hard to do a box that will excel at both uses, get the specs for the daily mode and the specs for the SPL mode and then make that work on a single box size, a removable slot port with no common walls can be made in a way that it controls the tuning and the net volume of the box (by it's own displacement).
