four channel amp help

Well, I just purchased a massive audio v1000.4 (not the greatest 4 channel I know, but it will subvise) and I'm new to the whole four channel to speakers stuff. I know you wire door speakers directly to the amp and you put your rca's from the 4 channel to the head unit, but my question is, my head unit only has 4 total rca's (two for subwoofer output and two for aux or something, how do I hook up the 4 rca's for the 4 channel amp and the 2 rca's for my mono amp to this head unit I have?? Will I have to buy a new head unit....or what..?

2 amps. Four channel amps have rear and front rcas ( 2 sets of rcas for just the four channel ) and I'll be running my mono amp. Just trying to figure out how I'm gonna do this lol

Well you can use the Y-connectors or if the 4-channel amp has a "line out" option, then you can just run it from line out to the mono and you should be golden.

Get an eq. I only had one set of pre outs on my hu. I set the pre out to rear threw the eq in and it gives you a sub channel and front and rear speaker channels. And it has a bass knob on it and let's you fine tune your system.

Y-Connectors will be the quickest and least expensive route to take.

Yes but my friend has y connectors running from the back of the hu to the speaker rca's from the stock amp. Sounds like junk compared to when I had my speakers right off of hu power. I think it takes some of the frequency or something out of it. But if your looking for a cheaper way out by all means go with the y connectors. But the eq is definitely 50 bucks well spent.

Make sure to pick up a couple extra sets of rca's if you don't already have them. Mine were awful to run because I put my eq in the armrest and I had to remove the whole thing and run the wires all under the carpet that I would barely let me lift up. But if your just putting it under the hu or something like that you should be fine.
