Box design for a single Btl n2 18

I have built a few boxes and know there are several things to take into consideration. With that said I want something that will play low and put out decent spl. I am putting it in the back of an extended cab Chevy. I'm thinking firing forward and port firing up. But my main concern is port and box size. I will be running a Rockford T4000.1 on it. I know it's a little much but it's what I have. So just worried about building the box to spec with that much power. Any ideas would be appreciated.

My demensions are 48x20x20. My main concern is that sub should handle that power if I'm not super abusive. But I know I can build my box so that it will help save the sub some abuse. At least that's what I think I might be wrong. Who knows lol. I looked at FI's site the other day and it said 4-8 ftcubed. Now it says 4.5-9 what is the benefit of a smaller box compared to a bibber one. Also what will a smaller port do for me? I've been reading that 14-19 square inches of port is the norm, so just wondering what I should do

Taking your maximum dims here is a suggestion:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 34 Hz
Vb = 6.3 ft^3

External Height = 20 in
External Width = 48 in
External Depth = 20 in

Port Width = 6 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.
* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 48 x 20

Left & Right Sides =
Side 1 = 18 1/2 x 17 3/4
Side 2 = 19 1/4 x 17 3/4

Top = 41 1/4 x 17 3/4

Bottom = 48 x 17 3/4

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Top to Bottom = 12 1/2 x 17 3/4
Extension = 7 3/4 x 17 3/4

Assembly guide (generic dimensions):

Important notes:

- The port needs 6" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.

- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested.

Should be far enough away from the seats. I took that into concideration when measuring. So I think this could be a winner. Now I need to figure out how and where to mount my surfboard of an amp
