760 amps of alt power enough for 10k watts?

im planning on a new build, just doing a bunch of number crunching and such right now..

Im planning on running 4 SAZ 2500D amplifiers my original plan was getting 3 380 amp iraggi alts but i can only find double alt brackets for my truck so my question is would 2 380 amp alts (760 amps) be enough to keep 4 XS Power 5100 3100amp batteries charged up against 10k watts?

Not just for burps for like 20 - 30 mins at a time

Well, lets see:

760A * worst case alt voltage of 13.8V = ~10,500W.

Considering the lost efficiency of the amp and any current required by the car (and other accessories), your a little short but not bad.

You'll start depleting the batteries a little depending on how heavy the music is.

At a realistic 14.4V = ~11,000W which helps but with a 1ohm load, the amps will probly be at a ~65-70% efficiency.

11,000*70%= 7,700W.

Are you set on batteries? I'm doing dual 370s, a D3100, and four XP2500s for 12k rms. Might add two more batteries though...

hmm ok so would another battery help out or do u think that 4 of them would be enough just wont be able to keep them charged up forever while bumping? i realisticly only keep my system on full blast for tops like 20 mins at a time due to cops i usually only play it full out on the high way and back roads
