Aeroports don't necessarily need as much port area to get as loud as a slot port. I've heard 8-10 sq inches of port/cube is alright with aero's

If you insist on aeros I would do 6 6" but with the flares thats going to take up alot of space...part of the problem using aeros for things like this.

Or try using larger diameter pvc piping if you can find it and flare it yourself....I would shoot for around 160sq" of port at that tuning with those subs and power

that 9.25 outside diameter of the flare on a 6" does take up a ton of space!

I've used aeros, I know them...they are not magical or anything. They tend to allow you to use less port area because they are more efficient at getting air in and out of the port openings due to the flare and a circular port having the least amount of surface area for any port shape reducing turbulence and increasing efficiency.

It sounds more like you just want someone to tell you what you are already doing is correct, rather than get any advice.

The price of them is also another reason not to use them when you need this much port area...look around at other wall builds, very few of them use aeros, this is for a reason.

Its not like your "wall' will not make any sound with the 4 ports, it will and will probably sound fine to you on the power you are giving these subs. And If you are olkay with knowing that your build is not optimal and could have been better go for the 4.

If you simply dont have the room for more, maybe look at using 15s instead and doing 3 6" aeros down the center of your wall.

what are you even saying, i said i was taking advice and i wanted to go with aeroports, i was only asking for the number of aeroports i needed if i really need 6 6" aeros then ill go with a slot

what he is saying is that for the cost of 4-6 aeros you would be better off just using a slot port...that is one reason you don't see wall builds using aeroports...

I agree with him, it would be more cost effective and easier to just go with a slot port...I gave you the 4 6s at 17"s as an option if you were dead set on aeroports, but in some cases it's not the best option...

i understood what he said, but i never said that aeros where "magical" or that "It sounds more like you just want someone to tell you what you are already doing is correct, rather than get any advice" , i just wanted to go with aeros because of the look. thanks stroupe
