purplesyrup
Ok, so after hours of searching last week, and comparing and trying to decide what would be best for me, this is what I ended up with I was looking to spend in the $150 area, but looking at so many thing available I could not come to the conclusion that any other $150 comp set would compare to these, most have a freq response of 70hz - 22k hz, these are 40 - 32k hz, the dont require tons of power, the tensil leads are woven into the spider, big magnet, longer excursion, titanium tweeter, I kept searching and searching to find a reason not to buy these, and well, after hours I said F it and hit "Buy" Here is a pic next to the Kenwood 6.5"s that the component sets online are going for about $120-
purplesyrup
After all the comparison's, these go for about $150.00 on stores online, retail is $179.99, Sonic had these for $74.00 SHIPPED!!! No brainer to me. Oh and heres the ass

purplesyrup
I've heard some MB Quart components before, they sounded pretty damn good Thats what i've always heard, i remember back in the day they were supposed make some of the nicer sounding comps out there, not sure how they rank these days, but for the price is really was not a gamble at all, if they suck you catch them on fire on the bc3500 then move on, lol

jhmeg2
I didn't know what to use. I heard good things about the quarts. Installed quite a few sets. Had a goooood long listen in another installers car. Pulled the trigger on a set. Then moved up, and moved up again, to QSCs... 6.5" midrange, and midbass, and titanium tweets. Good choice, will take a bit to get use to the tweets. Might need to attinuate them a bit. but, I think you will be happy with them. Now, go put em in ////Alpine, Eclipse, Load Boss, Pheonix Gold, MB Quart,Digital Desings, Memphis, Stinger, Periphial, MTX, Visualogic

purplesyrup
Funnier thing was, Before I left today i told me step daughter "hey UPS is coming here and delivering a package, just go put it on top of the wine boxes in the garage when it shows up, Well my girl got home from work before UPS delivered so at abut 530 I get this interrogation call, "hey what did your work send you, I was like, Im not sure, its from my work? Well julia said to put it with the wine, and i was like yea just go set it with the wine, "wut is in it" hey this isn't from your work its from sonic electronics, busted, damn lol Its going to be even awesomer when 4 12"s and another 3500 shows up, lol
