mgbadboyz Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 I had some old topics asking about some recommendations for subs and i finally settled. I sold my old camaro i was originally doing this build for and decided to build my girl friend something for her 1990 dodge dakota. Its nothing really special but it sounds great. 1990 dodge dakota Ext Cab Sundown Audio SA-12 D2 Hifonics Brutus brz1200.1d Belva BAK02 1/0 gauge wiring kit Kenwood KDC-152 Head unit Kenwood 6.5 Door speakers Polk Audio 4x6 rear speakers Still need to get an amp for the door speakers and get this sub out of this shi*** prefab box thats tuned to 50hz -.- This will be my next project system after i get the box built for my girl friend. 1993 S10-tahoe 4.3l High Output v6 4x4 lifted 35" bull dog mud tires. Im most likely going with 2 Sundown Audio SA-12's because i love the way they sound. Will be ported and tuned to 35hz

mgbadboyz Posted May 10, 2013 Author Report Posted May 10, 2013 Finally got a little bit of money put aside and started building my box today. Got all the cuts done and going to start piecing it together tomorrow morning. Will post pics and a demo tomorrow morning.
mgbadboyz Posted May 10, 2013 Author Report Posted May 10, 2013 Heres some pics before glue sets. My cuts are far from perfect but a little sanding should make up for it. Cant help the cut of a skilsaw and a shaky hand. Not to bad for my first box by myself Working on the cutout for the sub now and going to start gluing!
mgbadboyz Posted May 10, 2013 Author Report Posted May 10, 2013 Cutout is now done for the sub. Starting the gluing process. Any recommendations for how long to let the glue sit for before putting sub in and using?
CleanSierra Posted May 10, 2013 Report Posted May 10, 2013 Are your power and grounds going into the amp different gauge wire? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
