Azzazel_99
So im trying to find the best option for lining the wood of my box and wood floor i built for the trunk of my car. I was at autozone and was looking at some of their herculiner, duplicolor bed armor and a few others, some are spray on and some brush on. Im wanting to protect the wood from damage if it were to ever get wet from say a trunk seal leaking or some random act of disaster happening. What opinions do you guys have or what has worked better at sealing the wood and protecting it from moisture? http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Dupli-Color-Spray-truck-bed-coating/_/N-257b?itemIdentifier=291641_0_0_ http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Rust-Oleum-Spray-truck-bed-coating/_/N-257b?itemIdentifier=98214_0_0_ http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Herculiner-Brush-on-truck-bed-coating/_/N-257b?itemIdentifier=229818_0_0_ http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Dupli-Color-Brush-on-truck-bed-coating/_/N-257b?itemIdentifier=60077_0_0_
n8ball2013
I would resin it first. thats just me. spray on bedliners suck to be honest. you gotta use alot of the can to get any coverage. Not something I would watn to use to tacklle a large project. resin it then cover it anyway you want. Azzazel_99
what about the roll on stuff? I dont have a huge area to cover to be honest the floor is what im more worried about. The MDF board i used to make the floor i just dont want to get damaged from moisture. Anyone have any luck with the brush on liners?

n8ball2013
there are different types of resins with varying degrees of quality. The roll on Ive used with decent results. IT did take a lot to cover though. If you were serious about it Id have someone spray the good stuff on it. Azzazel_99
ok im going to try the roll on and see what i get. If its not protective enough then i can just recut the wood and try again. Gonna do about 3-4 coats and see where that gets me
