that looks pretty awesome

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

SD, thank for the input. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

In my experience with my 2004 GMC SIerra Extended cab, having the port facing up and forward makes very little to no difference.

If i were you I would stick with the first design with the port forward, Or build a big a** bed box blow thru .and not have to worry about lifting the seat, and have a great spot to build a kick a** amp rack under the seat.

But thats just my 2 cents.

I really did think about that but I really don't want to cut a hole through the truck and by the time all that is done it would be just as easy to lift the seat.

Sorry guys i havent posted in a couple of days but heres the update. i talked to dad about when i can get this thing going and i will still have to wait till after the science fair but other than that everything is good and cleared through him! oh and here's the catch i have to keep my grades up at an A. no problem at all just something he had to throw in there lol. Are there any suggestions for where i should mount my amp; make an amp rack? one of my ideas was to put it on the box itself but i doubt it, i will most likely put it on the floor behind the driver seat.

directly on the box if you're running any decent power at all is risky, if you can hide it under a front seat or maybe on the back of the back seat? idk I personally wouldn't just stick it on the floor unless it's under something like a seat but that's me. and I usually have ppl using my seats which means if I put an amp on the floor and it wasn't under a seat it would get trampled.
