Joshex
I would like to get some help on porting this bitch to move a little more air then my prefabbed box. I would like to be tuned around 28-32hz. I would like a port without a bend (if it has too I'll get over it), but I have tried and I keep failing(without bend. The problem I was having was having the port per foot above 12 inches, can I get some help here? I'm also running 12" RF P3 on an AQ1200. Joshex
Well, I would like to make it bigger, but I'm already overrating the subs by give or take, .5 cb ft and I'm afraid to go any bigger. I've made boxes before, but "played it safe". 95 Acura Integra - 5-speedNFG Pioneer FH-X700BT(2) Rockford Fosgate 12" P3AQ1200dRockford Fosgate P1652-S 6.5" components Rockford Fosgate P1572 5x7"Rockford Fosgate R400.4 95 Integra Build Here93 EJ2 Build Here

TRTC360
generally speaking the closer you stay to 12sqin per cube the flatter your response curve would be, more port tends to lead to a peaky response but it should get louder at and around tuning with more port. Example: If I used all the calculations I have above and in the calculator I do a sqaure 4"x4" port that the length of 6" I get a port area of 16.00 in² and a port area per foot of 3.73 in², tuned at 32.86 Hz 95 Acura Integra - 5-speedNFG Pioneer FH-X700BT(2) Rockford Fosgate 12" P3AQ1200dRockford Fosgate P1652-S 6.5" components Rockford Fosgate P1572 5x7"Rockford Fosgate R400.4 95 Integra Build Here93 EJ2 Build Here
