Isaac
I have a Sundown 1500d and a tiny resistor fell off of the board. Luckily i found it stuck to some glue on the board. It is a 1/8 watt resistor and it is hard for me to tell what color bands it has. I think that it is either a 240 ohm or a 740 ohm. when i try to read it with a multimeter it comes to 230 ohm. would the value vary any? I can find the 240 ohm online but can't find a 230 ohm anywhere. I want to get the right resistor and was wondering if you guys could help. Sorry if it was confusing. Wicks
Post a pic of the resistor or list the color bands. Resistors have tolerances and the circuit may need a certain tolerance to function correctly. ric006
yup post a pic though they could have rubbed them off you can put a multimeter on it since its off and get the resistance
Isaac
Well, i don't really have a good enough camera to get the full detail. I put it in a small clamp so i could get a better reading and it read exactly 240 this time so i think i have found it. The bands i think it has are: red yellow black black brown. Is there anything to be extra careful with when i take the board off to solder?
