Not bad, I like sticking my wire in a vice to solder, or have my son hold it lol.

At least you didn't do like the other video i saw where he just filled a copper lug with solder and shoved cold wire into it.

The plug method is one of the best for closed end terminals.

Edit: also you have zero chance of melting the jacket

Nice video

That's roughly how I do mine: except I don't squeeze it as tightly with the pliers - I squeeze it just enough that the lug doesn't move/shift/fall off when I'm working with it

back on topic, hydraulic crimpers, IMO, are the bar none best thing you can use.
