new computer build! pics last page

Recommended Posts

I edited my first post, can check it again if you would like.

I think I got final one. Forgot a dvd drive. So added and bumped hdd down to 500gb

Here's final build I'm hoping that everyone including my mom approves of. Ive got the bestof both worlds im thinking. Amd for rendering and nvidia for gaming AND rendering. Sould be a pretty badass computer when done im thinking. What you guys think?E848E79B-orig_zps62004de0.png468AA2CE-orig_zpsf2e7bafd.png

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

Lol most definitely will. I just want the damn ok to do it. Tired of waiting lol. This should be a helluva rig to me with what I'm coming from. Not best but damn. It will do work.

Best I've used is at school. 4gb ram win 7 nvidia gt 9800 idk cpu. But they still sucked. Gonna love my orange and black theme hopefully.

That build will absolutely blow you away in performance. I need to get my lazy ass together and try to sell my iMac when I get back home so I can get the money to start buying my new rig and some door components for the truck.

Also another thing to look into is investing in a quality monitor. Almost pointless to get a great rig and then use it on something less than 1080p. I would personally look into some IPS monitor when the time comes around. Great color reproduction for 3D modeling and very soft on your eyes. I can sit I front of mine for hours and not even feel any eye strain.

Coming from someone who is majoring in IT, I don't ever see a need to have 12GB of ram let alone more then 8GB. If you're looking for somethingthat will kick ass, get something like this.

upgrades from the factory on the site is the Video card, the OS, and the Processor.

Being almost the same situation as you cause of school and can't get a real job during track season I'm limited on what I can get so my budget would be around $1,300-1,400 for everything except a mouse. I love my Logitech Walmart mouse. :)

Since he is doing CAD work he will benefit from the extra ram. I know not by much but what really is the harm of getting a 16GB kit of nice RAM?

Edit: He will also benefit from the CUDA cores. Plus I can guaranty that he will get into gaming a bit and Physx even though scarce is still fun when it pops up.
