JMC0415
I have (2) Type-R 12's in a ported box (subs up, port back). Currently I have the port back but I want to know if it'd be louder with the sub facing the front, firing through the ski hole. My sub box is a pain in the aZZ to move around as it weighs about 170 lbs. The ski hole is pretty big so I'm wondering if it'd get louder that way. If I can get some more wood I might be able to seal it up (kinda like a blow-thru). Would this be better?

JMC0415
I haven't got any good pictures. Amp's not mounted there anymore. This is what it looks like without the seats. Which I usually take out. And this is what the trunk space looks like.
Decaf
well unless you seal off the subs and port firing into the cabin from the airsapce in the trunk it should be louder if you do sub back port back in a trunk car thats what works in my 03 grand am, different car but similar issue and ive tried all positions and configurations and to the ear, port back sub back sounds the best and is the loudest .... if you can stop the rattle.... JMC0415
Yeah that will hopefully be the next step, sealing everything off. I would try different positions but my box sucks trying to move it around. Thanks for the input decafcappucino.
