Here are my REVISED calculations, basically everything is different and I am using the Subwofers sd for cone area.

Cone Measurement: 5.6875”in^2 (subwoofers sd)
Cone Area: 25.39291015625” round down to 25” (old calculation was 38”)
Port Length: 8.75ft (105”) – I come up with 103.5”
Port Width: 3.5”
Port Height: 8”
3.5 x 8 = 28 sq in of port (close enough) (I went with a bigger port just for looks basically, 3x8 would have been 24" but I like big ports :P )
Enclosure Specs: 25”W x 20.5”D x 9.5”H
Tuned to 32hz (8.828125 = 32hz, I rounded this number to 8.75ft)

I WILL have a "ring" to go under the sub so it can be mounted properly because mounting depth is about 5".

sobased, you should totally do a build log lol. I have 3 e8 v3 d2s and am considering trying a t-line myself. I totally want to know how this turns out lol!!!

Yeah deffintaley! Your 3 must pound dude! I'm an not sure when I will actually do it, I'm trying to do it soon, I need to order this router guide too, but I would like to get it done this month

I am actually surprised by them. I am running a good bit more than their RMS lol and they eat it up with no problems. They surprise me again every time I turn it up lol.

It sounds awesome! The box depth was insufficient for 3.5" port width on the first (behind the sub) port wall, it ended up being around 1.5" or so (I forgot the exact width), I thought it was going to affect SQ a lot but compared to my previous box, it sounds like a single 12". Plays lows down to 28hz so much better, louder and cleaner. I've tried it on various music types and it surpasses my expectations! I will be posting pictures shortly

T-Line is almost done! The enclosure itself is done, just needs some paint (thinking of plastidip matte black and some type different camo with shapes rather than regular army camo). The sub sounds amazing even though i messed up the first port wall width due to insufficient and miscalculated depth of the box, so the width at the beginning of the box is about 1.5" or so.. but still performs great! It seems as if the sub does not bottom out quicker than before, it is tuned to 32hz with 103.5" of port. Sounds great on all types of music, kick drums seem to be more audible and detailed than my last box (last box was based on a different 8" sub btw), its a T-line so yeah its gonna be musical anyways. Does not sound like an 8, maybe a entry level 12. It is still on my Soundstream TX1.1300D at 4ohms on 550 watts RMS (deff not 550 in this box), I thought it was going to be too much power but doesn't seem it. Very happy with this box!

Here is the build!

So the Top/Bottom, Sides, Port walls and 45's are cut and sanded them down a lil and then my belt sander crapped out me. . .

20130418201033.jpg

Threw some white primer on all outside pieces, 45's, port wall on the right of port, and left side of the inner port and rear wall. I want the port white and box matte black.

20130418212214.jpg

201304190958410.jpg

2 Sides up and one 45.

20130419135104.jpg

All sides up and one inner port wall also.

20130419113229.jpg

20130419113238.jpg

Cut the circle with a jig.... one of my clamps got in my way and screwed it up and clamped it a little too much (the clamp circle "dent") but I plan on throwing a couple more front baffles on so the sub will not be inverted (although it looks pretty cool inverted) and the imperfections will be hidden.

20130419134051.jpg

And all sides, 45s and port walls up! I am also gonna sand down the edges on the port so they are somewhat rounded. I did try to sand the edges on all inner port walls to round them.

20130419201459.jpg

Subs outta the old box, moving to the new box!

20130419212316.jpg

dat ass..

20130419212332.jpg

Its (almost) done!!

Sorry this one's blurry. Yep, i chipped some of the box cause the circle was not big enough, so being dumb as I already am, went back in there with the jig to make it larger. . .

20130419215509.jpg

20130419215515.jpg

In the trunk sounding awesome!

20130420172655.jpg

Yep, that's 8 gauge wire being used for speaker wire, why? why not :D
