Tarball
I have a razer blackwidow- typing on it now. I tried to use it on my work computer so I can work in the relative darkness-lighted keys, and I'm sure I could make some use of the macros but I had some issues. Would forget it was a keybaord at times after screenlock, actually it would behave like the alt key was being held down. SO I couldnt type in my pwd. I switched it over to my gaming rig and no issues yet. Win7 64bit on both I like the responsivness and the feel of typing on a real mechanical . Good overall quality - its heavy too which i like. Not sure exactly have they compare to the Deathstalker. Maxim
The Deathstalker is kind of a waste of money. It's not a true mechanical leyboard. It uses scissor switches and a silicone membrane so the keyboard itself is no better than a cheap "slim" keyboard by any other manufacturer. It'll feel similar to Apple's keyboards. The only selling point is the Switchblade UI they have in place of the number pad and it's the most gimmicky thing I've ever seen on a keyboard. Although being able to watch YouTube videos in 360p at a choppy framerate on a screen on your keyboard is cool I would bet money you have a smartphone or tablet that can do YouTube and a million other things better than a screen on your keyboard ever could. You're much better off getting a quality mechanical keyboard for half the price and either pocketing the $100+ you saved or putting it toward upgrading something else in your system. If you want to stick with Razer the BlackWidow Ultimate is a solid keyboard that is also backlit. I own the original and it's what I've used with my desktop at home since the day I built it. WASD Keyboards offers a custom designer tool on their site where you can choose everything from the key fonts to key cap colors to switch types and even do custom text or art on single keys. They don't offer backlit options but if you want to have that level of customization WASD is a great place to check out. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
