where to find alternator/rebuild and are kenetic batteries the best?

im looking to add one or two more batteries to my system. i currently have 2 1150CCA batteries in my factory locations under the hood. i want to add a couple more under the bed of the truck so i dont care if they are AGM or not but i do want to know whats the best option? deep cycle, AGM, kenetic, ect. i run at present about 4400W RMS and i also have a 5KW power inverter that is used from time to time.

is there any problem running wire from the 2 batteries up front to the rear batteries? will it cause a loss in power or anything like that with a 10 ft battery run? i assume i can just run a single power wire and then ground to the frame right?

finally i want to replace my alternator. i currently run my factory alt which is rated at 225A but i think i need some more power. i would like to find an alt or a rebuild kit for my current one. my power goal would be the 400-550A range off the alt. i do not have an option to add another alt to the engine as there is already very little room, i have A/C and an air compressor and arc welder belt driven mounted on the engine so im out of space to add more. unless i could build some kind of exhaust driven alternator system?

the system will drop to 12V when im idling and will cut out of im maxing my volume and do not have high idle turned on. while driving its 90% of the time stable but there are moments when it drops to 12.4V while moving but it has never gone below 12.4V above 1K RPM. i do think i will be upgrading the stereo in the future so thats why im looking for quite a bit more power.

Best batt´s on the market are XS-Power. For an alt conntact Mechman, Singer or DC Power.

i see the AH are 60 on these XS batteries. i thought AH was a sign of how good a battery is for stereo use along with CCA. i must not understand something as the kenitics say they are 120AH.

cost is also a major factor in my setup, while i am looking for good product i am trying to find a bit of a balance there. could i simply run 2 deep cycle liquid batteries since they are not going to be in the cab? im not sure how to compare the benefit of 2 liquid deep cycle vs 2 AGM's.

I wouldnt say xs is the best i would say it is one of the top brands its between the two xs and kenetik, XS can test all the batteries they want at there site but untill its a third party not affilliacted with the testing then i would

i got ya, i sent some emails off to those alternator companies asking them what they can do for me. as for batteries is there any major difference between AGM and liquid? the reason we all use AGM in audio is because most people have them inside the cab. any reason other than that to go AGM?

i would not rate Kinetik as "one of the best". They are decent. XS Power is one of the top brands. Again not the best ever, but in the top few.

I can not speak on xs, but my one kinetik hc 2000 on an 1800 rms system with big three upgrade never drops below 14.2 at full tilt. Oh im also running knu konceptz kolossus flex 1/0 gauge , which is almost 2/0 wire.

get what you pay for, power xs is one of the top brand thats forsure.

kinetik are great batteries but from experience ive always used stinger batteries the power2 models are great and xs are great as well if your working on a budget i would say the xs xp series, but if you can find a great deal on the stinger power2 they've never let me down. By the way the power2 models are the red ones with the cases

Also on the alt dc power in my opinion talk to kyle over they're he'll give you a great deal and they make a lot of alts that no one else seems to make he even had one for my bmw
