Mobileaudio25 Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 I have a 180 amp alt now and I'm gonna be upgrading to about 3500rms. Ohio generator makes an alt that does 200 amp but they say it really does 220. Is the $350 worth the extra amperage? Or should I go bigger?

Add that to your car amp draw and give a little wiggle room (or alot).
