Cheapest way out IMO find another 8 ohm W1 run all 3 10's parallel it will get you closer to 2 ohm and give you more cone area. Build that ported box you want. Sell the Kenwood and the JL box. I would think you could get at the most $60 for the amp and maybe $100 for you box if you get lowballed have them throw in something you can use for your build or just keep the shit. A sheet of MDF is around $33 or Get a pair of these build a ported box and run it at 2 ohms. I have given one of the 4ohm DVC version's 700rms clean power in a ported box and it took it like a champ and hits pretty low. I think if you like the JL's you will love the sound of these.
