OrionStang Posted March 29, 2013 Report Posted March 29, 2013 Just wondering how hard it is to do. I need to turn my plug/post 90deg on my 270XP. Is it as easy as undoing the bolts, turning it, and retightineng? Or is there more to it, like internally or something. Guest DC Power Kyle Posted March 29, 2013 Report Posted March 29, 2013 undo the through bolts, remove the pulley and pop the front case off the alternator do not remove the rotor from the alternator.. only make sure to make it to where the front case can be twisted.. then re-clock it and reseat the through bolts in.
