If you plan to run a few batts in the rear and a few thousand rms this is what i would do Run ALL charge lines to the rear, then run a line from the rear batt. If so, one alternator will power the main battery and whatever loads are attached to it, and and the second alternator will power the rear battery and whatever loads are attached to the rear battery. What are you trying to accomplish?

Big 3, rear battery, high out put alternator, MORE batteries, DUAL alts... Get what mean? How much RMS power do you run now and how much are you shooting for in the future?
