XxshadowdawgxX
I had a trailblazer I had my Fi SP4 18'' in beforehand. Now that it is gone I'm hoping to put my SP4 into my cruze. I have the dimensions and am hoping someone has a box building design software and can help me out. My dimensions maxes are ..... Width - 38'' Height - 20'' preferably 19'' Depth - 24", hoping for a little smaller. My goal is a box tuned from 28-32hz that has a general size of over 6 cubic feet. Long as its over 6 cubic feet after displacements I am a happy camper. The port I'll leave up to you professionals out there that are hopefully going to help me out here. Thanks everyone. I appreciate all help.
Joe X
Outstanding that you can do 20" h in a trunk car, here is a suggestion: Enclosure Specifications:Fb = 32.2 HzVb = 6 ft^3External Height = 20 inExternal Width = 38 inExternal Depth = 24 inPort Width = 5 3/4 inCut Sheet List:* All Dimensions in Inches.* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.External Enclosure Parts:2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 38 x 20Left & Right Sides = 21 3/4 x 18 1/2Top & Bottom = 38 x 21 3/4L Port Internal Assembly Parts:Front to Back = 16 x 18 1/2Extension = 11 x 18 1/2 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Important notes:- The 45s if you want to do them are 2 1/2" wide except the one/ones inside the port, if you want that let me know.- All trunk boxes built outside the car need to fit in their way in not just have the right dimensions.- The port needs 5 3/4" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested. XxshadowdawgxX
Yeah the Chevrolet Cruze has a absolutely massive trunk. I may very well have to rearrange the numbers as more information comes across as I begin to start building. These were the base measurements I was able to come up with though. Joe X
When you have more accurate dimensions let me know and I will tweak it a bit so that it fits.
