Stock wires (18ga) can't handle as much power as new wires can (usually 16ga+) and you can run more power into the doors in the future. Also it's just cleaner/better. I'm not sure if those have a connector or not. My 11 Focus does. I ran wires behind the HU. You can connect them to the metra wiring so you don't have to mess with the vehicles wiring harness at all. I made all of the cuts already and they're 18g so I'm kindve only left with that option unless I buy another 100ft spool which I'm not really patient enough to wait for.
