Semper
So I've used googled and never really found a straight forward answer. How exactly should I hook up my 4 channel? This is going to be a front stage amp. Basically I want to wire up my 4 channel without running wires through my car doors. All help is appreciated. Thanks. New Setup; H/U; Pioneer DEH-80prs. Wiring; 2 runs of 2/0 OFC & Big 3. Subs; 2 D1 DC Level 4s. Monoblock; DC 3.5k. 4 Channel; JBL GTO1004. Highs; Vifa NE25VTS-04. Mids; Aura NS6-255-8A. Alt; 160a. Batts; Optima, KHC1800. SnowDrifter
2 things: I wouldn't tap into your wires. I'd cut them and wire into them. If you use a wire tap, you'd be asking for trouble. And I also wouldn't use your stock wiring. Running wire into your doors is pretty straight forward on most cars. Pioneerchuck
just spend the $10 for a fishing tool or whatever they're called, you run it through the factory boot in between the doors and hook the wire up to it on the other side then pull it through. Makes installs in doors sooo much easier. Plus you can retain factory wiring if you ever want to sell the car and you're doing it the right way.
