Noob with no experience build question

Ok, After watching a ton of videos on youtube including most of the SMD ones I came here to ask this question knowing that you peeps would probably have the best advice.

I drive a truck for a living and want to add some bass to the system for the long hours spent going down the road.

I don't want the kinda bass that shakes everything apart, although a little chest vibration isn't bad.

The cab and sleep area is quite large, however the place I want to put an enclosure is limited.

The approx measurements I have to work with are as follows.

34" wide 26" deep and 18" tall.

I was thinking two 12's since I listen to all types of music.

I have no idea what would work best, and I would like to keep it as cheap as possible but still bump going down the road.

So I ask you the experts..... BUILD IT! please.

I would need subs, amp, box, cap.... like I said try to keep it cheap, I'm a broke S.O.B.

I would like to spend less than 1k.

Can a 15 keep up with the hard metal I listen to as well? I come from the old days of audio where a 15 had trouble keeping up with stuff like metallica or van halen.

I'm in for pics of this! Can you better describe where the enclosure would go? or post a pic? I would say two 12s but thats just cause I like things in pairs lol 1k can get you a pretty solid setup imo. Also don't big rigs have fairly large battery(ies)/charging systems to power all the lights and accessories?

I can get pics in about a week. I'm currently on home time, and I try to stay as far away from my truck as possible when I'm home.

As far as batteries, it's a twelve volt system, but I do have 6 batteries. So i'm pretty sure power wont be a problem.

If you heard a 15 that can't keep up, something was wrong lol. 18s can keep up just fine

Ok, this is where I have to be creative. The head unit is a stock OEM radio that is wired into a gps and touch screen system for gauges, audio and the like. So I will be tapping into the rear speaker wire, running through some high level to low level adapter. I cant drill any holes. Luckily It's already wired for a 3000 watt power inverter, so getting power to the amp, will not be a problem.

As far as a blowtorch? Sorry I divorced her 20 years ago.

id go the shallow mount route considering u drive a truck im assuming its not a sleeper more cab over type (correct me if wrong) u should be able to do what u want and even upgrade those stock speakers while staying in budget kicker or fosgate would be a good choice for achieving your desired level of bass
