Mobileaudio25 Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I have an old school 200 w 4 channel boss havoc amplifier. It has an option for low/flat/high settings but it also has a low pass knob. If I put the amp on the high setting will I still need to mess with the low pass knob?
8ight Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I am guessing those settings mean low pass, crossover disable (flat, must be off?), and high pass. How many pots (knobs) do you have access to? If it is just that one then it should set the crossover frequency. I'm gonna hate

Please take a picture of the entire EQ section showing all of the switches/knobs you have. I still cannot determine the full functionality of this crossover from what I can find online. Usually anything labeled an EQ is just that, an equalizer, not a filter like a crossover. I am thinking that the low-pass knob is what you use to set the crossover point but I am not sure what else you have control of. I'm gonna hate
