then we decided to drop down a class and go with 2 sa-15's

nice man. specs on that 4 15s box & 2 zv3s box? so the 2 zv3s port/subs back are louder then the 4 15s subs up/port back? same power?

the 4 15's box was 14.5 cf tuned to 35 and 30 with insert and the 2x15 box is 3.75 each tuned to 30 both with 15in per cf of port .

and yes on the same power this is better in every way to the ear at least. no term lab results yet . the difference between the sa and z line even on this power is staggering

did you make them lil things your door speakers are in?

ya they are 3/4 mdf cut outs stacked to 1 1/2 wrapped in vinyl and glued in . they were pretty easy to make
