Need help on 10" S series Power bass woofer

Hey,

I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this woofer and what size of enclosure would be ideal for it?....A tuning frequency would be highly appreciated too!

Here is a suggestion:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 35 Hz
Vb = 1.3 ft^3

External Height = 14 in
External Width = 23 in
External Depth = 13 in

Port Width = 1 1/2 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.
* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Front = 20 3/4 x 12 1/2
Back = 23 x 12 1/2

Left & Right Sides:
Side 1 = 11 1/2 x 12 1/2
Side 2 = 12 1/4 x 12 1/2

Top & Bottom = 23 x 13

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 10 x 12 1/2
Extension = 14 1/2 x 12 1/2

Assembly guide (generic dimensions):

Important notes:

- The 45s if you want to do them are 2 1/2" wide except the one/ones inside the port, if you want that let me know.

- All trunk boxes built outside the car need to fit in their way in not just have the right dimensions.

- The port needs 1 1/2" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.

- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested.

Thanks i think that dimensions was exactly what i was looking for....it is to go in a mazda 3...5 channel precision power to play the doors and single bass should be a decent small set up....lol yea the head unit is excellent u can incorporate a large system and with alot of patience it can be very very clean

if i do the 45s what difference would it make?

If you find hard to do the 45s just slant or round any sharp edges inside the port at the turn and on the ends and that will be enough.

Also don't push much more than rated power to the sub on this box, regardless do use the subsonic filter and set your gains properly.

I think ill stick the dimensions you sent me....try it out first and maybe later i could try building using the 45s....im new to the building thing...so its a learning process.
