Weird problem! Subs seem lower in volume

So I've noticed for a while now that my subs

Kicker l7 15 2 of them in a 12 cube box powered by a zx2500.1

My subs after about half way through a hard hitting song will seem to lower in volume (it will no longer be ear throbbing bass)

So today when that happened I powered everything off and felt the dust cap, it was warm but nothing to be alarmed over!

I know the amp is happy as my volts stay above 14.2 while driving

Am I just pushing the subs too hard with power and its not liking it after a while!

If I let them (rest) for maybe 15mins and crank it up it hits hard but only for half the song maybe less?

How hot is the amp getting? What impedance are you wired to?

How are you measuring voltage?

Ok my box and electrical is as follows

Box:

12 maybe 10.5 after port and bracing tuned to roughly 35hrz give or take

Electrical:

150amp alty

Big 3 0 gage

Kinetik 2400 in back

Zx2500.1 pushing the 2 l7's

Volts full tilt driving never drop below 14.2

Full tilt idle 13.2

Amp grounded too kinetik 2400

Kinetik grounded to frame all shaven and bolted grounds
