gibblegeibel Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 i sold my old amplifier today. i am looking to upgrade. i had a hifonics Brutus brz1700.1d driving a cerwin Vega stroker 122 sub woofer. it is a dual 2 ohm sub woofer. the power rating is 2000 watts rms my question is would it be better off to run to amps that at 2 ohms do a 1000 watts or get a amplifier that does 2000 watts to 2500 watts? if so what brand would you guys recommend?
