zoltan86 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 Never had a SUV before so open to ideas on the box as well I heard top facing with rear port works well
TeamHT Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 BLs get down for sure. And the box will definitely be the biggest factor but you can definitely grab everything you need and be under budget. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
TeamHT Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 Those w7s are nice but for the price much nicer can be had. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
HypnotizedMind 91666 Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 Well, again.. what do you want?If you want to haul stuff in the back, I would do port and subs up, or something away from stuff I'm loading back there. But, if you want every single decimal of a decibal out of the setup you might want to do it like you said, or something different. Do you want the subs down one side of the truck or all the way across, with more height, or more depth? How much space do you currently have, and how much free space will you need when its done in a million, trillion, kabillion years,i would never play that song in my ride. I don't care if its clipped or not LOL. I feel like my nads got clipped after playing this for 15 seconds just to see what it was LOL. No thanks bro. Not into it.
zoltan86 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 Well what's some subs that would be nicer for the price
zoltan86 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 I don't really need much space at all I'm a single man no kids plus this will not be a daily driver when completed but its a 05 Yukon denali
Guest Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 $5000? if you dont want back seats, you can always try doing multiple 15's or 18's
zoltan86 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 Thought about taking the second row out but decided against it but third row is out so all that space is available
Watch the bass Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 Nice budget, JL audio is quality stuff with a very high price. I guess you 2 FI Q´s or AA Havoc´s in 12 or 15, a RF 2500 Bdcp as sub amp, RF T series multichannelamp for front and rear, as speakerßs Hertz or Focal´s, and ask Mechman, DC Power or Singer for a H/O alt, biggest they make in series for the Yukon, as batt the biggest baddest XS-Power you can fit. zoltan86 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 Thanx for the suggestion of subs and accessories I will look into them and I can use more for the budget but I have other plans that cost more lol
