Nick580
I had the same problem trying to find one for a Toyota. Try DC power alternator if you havent already.
brent379
Did they have one for u?? How many amps?
Nick580
yeah they had what I needed at 270amps. I did a quick search of their site and this is what they had for 2010 Subaru WRX https://www.dcpowerinc.com/vafproducts/list/?year=2010&make=Subaru&model=Impreza+WRX&engine=2.5L+H4+Turbo . Probably the same thing mechman had but you might try contacting them to see if they know anything about the 2013 year model.

brent379
Had anyone had an alt rebuilt to put out more amps?
Guest DC Power Kyle
Rebuilt alternators are asking for problems. You'll just waste your money. Get something that's designed to do the amperage from the get go. Call around to other places beside mechman and give them pictures of your stock alternator if need be. brent379
I emailed dc alternators and excessive amperage.. Just waiting on replies.. If no one can help me out with an alternator then I was thinking about running two batts... But I've been looking around on the net for a good 4hrs now and ppl make it seem like running 2 batts is a bad idea unless your gonna be runnin the stereo with the car off.. So if ur driving down the road how would 2 batts be beneficial??? I'm confused on this!!!!
