2nd system advice

Hi, I am looking to get a bigger system, but I don't know what equipment to get. I have a '96 Mercedes-Benz s600 (w140) with 2 12" Sony X-plod subs, 1 nitro(unsure of model number) amp, and a Kenwood KDC-152 head unit.

I do not know much about car audio, however I am learning. Any advice would be great

Best bet is to post some measurements of you truck

Measure it at if it was a square box

Post them here and then say out of what u have listed above, you would like to use?

Then list you elec system weather it be stock or what not

From that we can do some mock boxes on Torres calculator and see what's what

From that you'll then no what is and what's not possible

And make you chooses based on that

What I like to do

Once I no how much space is available

I look at the elect system and see what it can support

Most stock systems can handle 1000-1500 no problem and with some extra batteries a bit more

Now that I no how much power and space I have

I start looking at options based on a total budget

If I have say $700 to spend I look at amps around 1-1500rms and see around $350-700 is the going rate

so I pick one that is $400( ie sax1200)

I then see I have $300 left

now that's 2x 150 subs, 1x $300 or even 3x $100

I can get 2 good 12 for $110( ie e12 sundown)

So I'm at $620 and that leaves me $40 to build the box and $30 for power wire

Or I can do 3x e12 for $730 or e10 $715

If I already have some wood and power cables, or don't mind going a bit over

That is how I work out what will fit and work well for what I have and can afford

Elect system support

Total budget

Pick a brand your happy with

And mix and match until they all fit
