2 amps will distribute box rise between the two... Just a thought.

Google box rise. You will see its the natural law of when you play a subwoofer in an enclosure even though you wired it to 1 ohm nominal (fake numbers) at 40hz your sub might rise to 3 ohms... Then on 23hz it might drop to 1.1ohms... And on 65hz it might drop to 1.4ohms. Every box has a different box rise and frequencies where it rises.... This also depends on the subwoofer put in the enclosure....

But if you have 1 2000 watt amp and 2 1000 watt amps... Both are made to be wired at 1 ohm... And put out true RMS at that 1 ohm... Lets go back to that 40 hz referenced earlier... You would be seeing 3ohms .... With the 1 2000 watt amp you might be seeing 800rms because the amp is seeing 3 ohms not 1 ohm....

But the 2 1000watt amps would be seeing 1.5 ohms each (3 ohms / 2 amps) they might be making 600 rms each totaling 1200... So 1 amp you might have 800 rms and the two you might have 1200 because of box rise even though both do 2000 total rms at 1 ohm.
