gally
if youre too worried about gain matching why nor just strap them its not the gain mathing problem...i would wire the 2 amps together...so to strap them is the answer? 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
n8ball2013
Ill be that guy two m1bs. Chesper. Gain matching isnt that hard. Less rise per amp. Dd9515 king
You will have massive voltage drop on both setups. 2 m1c's strapped to .5 ohms or an m3b wired to .5 ohms will kill your car.
gally
yeah...i know the M3a gets in my head, but another M1b would be killer for me...other than that i wouldnt wire them to 0,5, i would rather buy a more powerfull amplifier so each amp will be wired on 2 ohm each...for starters...later with battery upgrades and a another sub then i will strap them each to 1ohm...so 2ohm both 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
Dd9515 king
If you running 2 ohms to each amp you will have no problem with 2 m1's.
gally
If you running 2 ohms to each amp you will have no problem with 2 m1's. with later electrical upgrades i would run them to 1 ohm on each amp 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
Miguels
strapping them at 2 ohms will give you a final impedance of 1 ohm per amp.. if you wire the 2 subs later at .5 ohm strapped you will toast all your equipment. DO NOT listen to this fool telling you to strap the amps at .5 ohms. it will run each amp at .25 my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

Miguels
if you strap the amps at 2ohms the amps will see 1 ohm each and you will have less rise which = more power then if you run 1 amp per sub my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Dd9515 king
I think people are getting confused. He is going to wire the m1's in series. He will have 2 dual 2's so his wiring will be 2 ohms or .5 ohms to each amp. He will fry his stuff at .5 so i told him to run at 2 ohms. So each amp sees 2 ohms so strapped at 1 ohm.
