Aero port(s) outside the box (HELP)

Hi..so currently im building a box for my 15 inch sub..so the thing is...

what is the difference for a normal aero port tuning,

and a difference if you put an aero port on the outsude of the box?

how can i calculate the outside of the box ports?

Same as inside, but you wouldn't subtract the port displacement from the box size

cause..i kinda failed with the box..and in calculations it would be tuned to 36 at lowest...

now

if i would tune lower then it means to fire the aeroport on the outside of the box....

so if i tune it to 29hz it would be alright?

When you design a box you subtract the displacement of the sub and ports(if its ported) from the size of the box....you knew that right?

They take up room in the box so you have to account for that

If the port is outside of the box you don't have to.do that, well because its outside the box lol

so to be simple

tuning aeroports outside the box....is the same as tuning inside the box(the usual way)?
