I took your advice and got a 99-02R zapco voltage regulator to bypass my pcu. Now my question is because its adjustable from 14v-20v what is my safe range to set it at? I have it set now to 14v even. P4killer_ Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 Safe operating voltage basically around 14v for cars. It depends on the car whether or not it'll take 15v+ but def not anything above 16.. Most cars charge between 13.8- 14.4.
