power wire from the rear batts to amp will be about 2-3ft long if that also helps

thats what im thinking of going with since i know i can spend the $70 else where, just wanted to know if there was any real benefit.i know in long power wire runs its different but how much resistance could there be in a big chunk of aluminum vs copper?

I got copper. Because YOLO

Lol but actually... It's more conductive. And aluminum and copper react in a process called galvanic corrosion. If there is any moisture - the two metals will corrode themselves

Besides... You have what.... A $1500 sub amp? What's another $20 bucks/input for the copper upgrade
