TommyK
Hey you guys I have to relocate my battery to my trunk area (behind my rear bumper) now my question is will it matter if my amp is the main connection to the battery what I mean is now my amp power wire is 3 ft instead of 9 ft but the main power wire for the whole car is now 9 ft longer. Now my system is 400 watts and my lights slightly dim (You cant notice it unluss your are looking for it) but will this wiring make my lights dim more because the amp is now connected "first" causing it to hog all the power? 2003 rsx:Alpine CDE-102Fosgate P300-1Fosgate P1 6.5"s15" Re SRX
Pioneerchuck
No, if you connect everything to the same (+) bolt on the battery it doesnt matter what position it is in it will still pull the same amount of amperage as if it were the 2nd hooked up. Now as for dimming on that P300, you really shouldn't be facing a problem like that depending on what your electrical is like of course.
