Cardboardcat15
Aight so heres what the 1st panel is turning out to be. Here's the second panel, 1st sand after the preliminary bondo stage. little more got another coat on and sanded what I'm dealing with after the second layer and more sanding Mmmm Panels I snagged from the junkyard were from a 2500 with the factory infinity system upgrade. We cant have that insignia there. Easy fix. Not the straightest, but I'll be covering the bottom with something thick. Plus, it's the bottom lol. Test fit the first panel. A little off with the snaps, but force puts it in it's place. Nice and snug. Tomorrow is a full day, I doubt I'll get much work in. But sunday is my day off (guaranteed) so I'll be up early finishing up small touches and then painting. Might even have the amp in by monday afternoon EDIT: Idr, but I'm pretty sure I said somewhere that I'd be dipping the entire door panels. I've ditched that idea because these panels are easy as fuck to hit with shoes. The cab is one big open area for feet, so theres lots of room to move (and kick things). I don't want to personally fuck up a nice dip job, or have anyone else do so. I think what I'm going to do is tape on the edge of the contour near the top of the pods and cover up the rest of the panel, and use the rock like spatter texture paint on the pods themselves, that way people can get all Messi on them and I don't have to worry. Then I'll dip the rest of the door from the pod up. That way it will still match the stock interior without deviating from the color scheme too much. My Channel on YouTube. COLTON94
I used the rock texture paint as a base and sprayed over it with $1 black paint from lowes and it turned out great.

Cardboardcat15
Also, about the batteries. I originally ordered two Logic Batteries through John Rabe of SHCA back in April assuming that even with crescendos record, theyd be here by the time I'd need them to finish my build (which would be now) Nope. So I've contacted Crescendo and John about a refund, so depending on the time it takes to get that battery money back will dictate my situation for batteries. I'm not too sure I feel comfortable running an AQ 3500 on a d1200 and XP300 on a stock alt and 3 runs of CCA 1/0 lol. In more entertaining news, I'm gonna get this made into a decal and put it above the subs heh My Channel on YouTube. Cardboardcat15
Thanks guys, John does some good work. Glad he was able to do this box so fast! He told me 3 weeks maximum and ended up doing it in less than two. And the Door panels were actually a total fail on my part. I was too anxious to finish them and I ran into some issues with how the Plasti Dip set up on the doors, so I'll be re doing them sometime soon. I'll get pictures up soon. My Channel on YouTube.
