Cardboardcat15 Posted January 2, 2014 Author Report Posted January 2, 2014 K so heres what I got done today. Not much cause I slept in again lol. Trim panels Not an exact match but it'll do. No droops, only used a staple gun. A few gaps but I'm cool with it. The top pieces bow out and make an uneven line because of the pressure. The right side panel is a bit too big. I'm just gonna screw them into place anyway. Pressure fit isn't working lol The wood floor piece that was so ugly. SO MUCH BETTER End result. The shadows fucked up the picture. On to the fuses. This is how I secured them to the carpeting. Sticky velcro pads. Only had to use one pad. Hardware for my battery posts. I love Ace Hardware! Far better than Lowes (don't tell my employer that lol). Started working on fuses. Was getting dark. Attached the buss bars and started cleaning up the wire a bit. You can see where I have the fuses . And where the RCA's/bass knob come out. I didn't hook up the batts/amp yet because it got way too dark. I don't have sufficient lighting, and ever since I arced a battery last year because of bad lighting (lol) I don;t work after dark unless I have floodlights everywhere. So tomorrow morning It's pretty much just plug and play. Also, I'll be filling all the screw holes on the back of the box and painting it white. Once I get the 500.1 in I;ll be mounting it there along with the CT sounds 125.4. I have to say, this is turning out to be the cleanest install I've done thus far. My Channel on YouTube. Cleaned up the wiring on the 125.4 1st round of wood filler I'm cheap 1st sanding 2 round of filler and sanded 1st coat! A little break never hurt anyone 2nd coat final coat! Engine bay back panels at night some of the wiring is messy in the back, ill get to that once i get a new amp. for now I am happy! My Channel on YouTube. FINALLY spent the money and got a decent 4v preout radio, I like it for the voltage (obv) but also because i now have an EQ and bluetooth capabilities to interact with my Note 2.
