bgowdy31
Im going with the usual sub up & port back to driver side, blazer setup. i have 1 zv3 18 on 3500rms. The box size im going with is 5.58 cubes gross im going to tune at 39hz for my music taste. And im using aeros. Im curious about the amount of port needed for the sub and enclosure. The box will be for daily driver but want it to put up good numbers on TL. The org (FCBC) i compete in is on music average in the kick, dash, and seat. Im not sure about the port size i would need. I have 2 6's & 1 8" aeroports just laying around and can be used. I can custom build a 10" port. what would be a good amount port for this enclosure? As in total square inches of port, or how many square inches of port per cube i should looking at. Im really needing help ASAP, for i have a comp coming up soon and i would like to try and have it done if i can. So HELP ASAP.... lol Thanks in Advance for any help..... 99 HONDA ACCORD EX COUPE1 American Bass HD15-D1 ~ THE PLAN- ? bgowdy31
I 8" port when I had my zv3 18 was good, it was a hair small but it was great for daily My original plan was to use a 8" aero, but again i want it to produce good(as i can get it to) TL numbers for when i compete in this org. thats why i was wondering if i needed more then a single 8". 99 HONDA ACCORD EX COUPE1 American Bass HD15-D1 ~ THE PLAN- ? ToNasty
an 8" port will allow it to have more bandwith but it wont be as peaky. if you want TL then go bigger, but the 8 was good for daily ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

Because2 6"s which is only 6 more total square inches then 1 8". lol so that would pretty much be pointless. 99 HONDA ACCORD EX COUPE1 American Bass HD15-D1 ~ THE PLAN- ?
