Ben Fultz Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 Like wet and Agm? I wouldn't because isolator will have to be open to charge other battery, at which point you'll be running two mix matched batteries.

covi1234 Posted May 9, 2013 Author Report Posted May 9, 2013 i have an optima red top and an autocraft gold. there both about the same age. just didnt know if i could use those until they were no good then buy 2 batteries that were better for car audio
Ben Fultz Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 I wouldn't, a wet battery will kill a agm battery pretty quick since they don't take repeated discharge and recharging like agm's do.
