What torch is that and how much was it and where can I buy it?

I got it from harbor freight for $8 IIRC it was cheap, it runs off those butane bottles, you just refill it, like what you would refll a torch lighter with, I have soldered over 100 lugs on one bottle and still have some left, you can get the butane in the cigarette check out lane at wal mart.

Is butane or propane better to use

Propane's hotter, butanes cheaper. I picked up the same torch but the valve went out on mine :/ I've considered crimping a time or 2.
