zydrix Posted May 19, 2013 Report Share Posted May 19, 2013 Alright guys some of u know that my old car (pos grand am se) engine blew up on me. so here is the new vehicle i picked up. still debating on what im going to be doing for a build, mayb 2 12s below window until i decide what to do. im open to suggestions an ideas so feel free to let me know. I'm also going to be uploading LOTS of pictures. the truck is a 1998 chevy s10 pretty damn nice truck for the 2,000 i paid for it.all the lights were on because i didnt start the truck. My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts. (on there way here) atomic at-3000.1 (soon) 146.2 outlaw @39hz., bad alt an bad batt when termed (old 2 12" build) alpine 6.5s in doors infinty 4x6s in dash. clarion cz201 HU. mechman 240a H/O alt stuff i still need. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts. zydrix Posted May 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 25, 2013 alright guys, im going to be getting started on this build. need to have it playing by june 8th so i can get it metered an beat the the local shops 2 12s build. an i miss bass in my car. picked this up the other day for my clarion single din an clarion eq. the stupid stock radio is only getting 1 radio station an its getting old. going to be reusing my old amp also going to be reusing my aq subs, cant wait to hear how 2 of them sound, the single 12 did really good. the 6.5s an 4x6s i had before will also be used in this. this build will be from all the equipment i previously had, just want some music in my car. an have something for the show. will add new stuff an change it up of course. just need to get started now. You could easily sell that camper shell and your wheels/tires and pick up a set of Cragar's for cheap. zydrix Posted June 2, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 okay guys nice update here!! box got started yesterday 6-1-2013 @ about 3pm an this is what we got done in the rest of the day. my last few boxes were made without proper tools, but this time we had some really nice tools to work with. perfect cuts!! here is the most amazing table saw, pic isnt that good, but its a grizzly table saw. thanks to AMI picked up some of this. i freakin love this stuff. box started right here. justin (pimpnfosgates) working on it. just laying a bead. we were also using titebond II along with this, an brad nails. someones getting happy, an then gets tired.
