I had 2 18s in my s10 with more depth then that and my steering wheel was to my chest. zydrix Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 18, 2013 now in the last pics the seats were out, an the reason is I HATE those seats!! an they didnt allow enough clearance for the subs, an i was eating steering wheel the whole time, so my bro an I went to the local U-pull it an got some seats out of a 2000 cavi 2dr coupe. bro again... sorry for the bad pics was late @ night when we got done, ill take some better ones later. a lot more clearance now seats are so much more comfortable. much happier with these seats vs the old ones. I had 2 18s in my s10 with more depth then that and my steering wheel was to my chest. lol actually im 5' 11" the ride is a little uncomfortable, but tbh the cavi seats made a good bit of a difference. going to see if i can do a slightly smaller steering wheel to allow a little more room.
